The Rock Island County Clerk’s Office Elections Division now offers online training for election judges.
Complete the online training at your own pace. To be certified as an election judge you must complete the test after each section of the training. Once you successfully complete the course, email the Rock Island County Clerk’s Office at coclerk@rockislandcountyil.gov. The County Clerk’s Office will then verify your completion.
The right to vote is one of our most significant and cherished rights. Both the United States and State of Illinois Constitutions and laws guarantee and protect this right. However, these laws can only be implemented through fair, knowledgeable and impartial conduct of elections. Judges of Election serve a vital role in protecting the rights of voters by being responsible for the conduct of the election in the Vote Center. Without your service as a Judge of Election, we would be unable to provide the voters of Rock Island County this vital right.
